Sorry I've been away guys. I got busy, and then I just got lazy. And once you really commit to laziness, it's hard to get started again.
I've still got my other ToastTheTrends blog. So if you're missing the fashion opinions, that's where you can find me. In addition to the fashion, there's home decor, electronics, entertainment, life, and financial (written by my husband who is even lazier with his blog than I am). I do regular posts there, promise.
What really got me busy is that I decided to actually commit myself to being a writer. I've got the ToastTheTrends, WatchMyAerogrow, a mom site that I created, a political site I created, MyWeekendProjects where you can all write, a magazine I'm going to launch before the end of the year, and probably 50 other sites I have forgotten. With the other fashion site, it's easy to see why this one got dropped.
Also, I recently got a job as an artist's assistant, and I love it. I'm learning a lot, and she's the most fantastic boss I could possibly hope for. I'm having fun, and it's really making me consider getting serious about my own art. I don't know if anything will happen with that or not, but it's something I'd like to pursue. But that's in addition to being a landlord and real estate investor, writer, internet researcher, and mom. Still, if you love something, you gotta go for it, right?

Wow. What a busy, energetic, and actually-applying-yourself-to- something-worthwhile person you have become! Good for you. I keep telling myself I'm going to try to publish something one of these days. But, the old laziness thing gets in the way, bigtime. I wish you the best, and sure hope you don't forget us around here!

Applying myself?? Ugh. Don't use such filthy language in my presence!
I'm most excited about the magazine, but I think it's the most likely to get shoved down the list. I look at everything I'm doing and wonder whether I really need to add launching a magazine to that. But when I think about it, it's something that I can't fathom not doing.
